Use Final Cut Pro to transcode and import Canon 5D and 7D footage straight from the Compact Flash card using FCP's Log and Transfer window. This tutorial covers how to use the EOS E1 plugin and compares the QuickTime files created by Final Cut Pro with QuickTime files created by MPEG Streamclip.Also compares ProRes 422 and ProRes 422 (LT) files.
